Read, validate, hand over

The Reader accepts an incoming e-invoice in any form, reads it via your own server, validates it, stores it together with the original file and displays it in readable form. For an XRechnung, which has no print image, this is the only view a human can read. What happens with the invoice afterwards is decided by a script that belongs to the customer.

The server detects by itself what it receives. Invoice or credit note, PDF or pure XML: the result is always the same, a record in the inbox and a JSON for the handover.

Which file formats are supported?

The ZUGFeRD/ UBL Reader supports ZUGFeRD PDFs (Factur-X) in all versions as well as UBL XML files. The embedded structured data is automatically extracted and processed.

How does the automatic mapping work?

The mapping is based on configurable rules that assign ZUGFeRD fields to your FileMaker fields. You can create mapping profiles and adapt them for different suppliers or invoice types.

What happens with missing or faulty data?

The Reader logs all problems in detail and offers correction suggestions. You can define default values or set up manual post-processing for critical fields.

Can existing customers/items be recognized?

Yes, the Reader can match master data using various criteria (name, tax number, GTIN, etc.) and assign existing records or create new ones if required.

Can I import multiple files at once?
